This is Only a Test

I was out and about today around Jupiter testing the Sony G FE 70-200 f/4 lens on my Sony a6000 and Sony a7s. I shot with both cameras at all focal lengths and distances, and believe it or not, in color (as you can see above).

By the way, I was really impressed with the out-of-camera jpegs and the amazingly rich color and depth from both cameras' sensors--even during the harshest and brightest part of the day when the sun was still high in the sky. In the months since I've purchased the cameras, I've mostly shot in B&W so I really haven't seem a lot of color from them. Conclusion: Fantastic!

As for the lens, I love it. It's from LensRentals.com, and they so graciously sent me a free copy because my original copy (back in May) was defective (in my opinion), or just a really bad copy. At certain focal lengths it performed well, but then...horribly. But this copy, which they hand picked for me, has thus far performed flawlessly. So much so that I just may have to keep it--once I give them my credit card info that is ;-)
